Southwick D-Day revival – performances on the village green.
Five Beaches is a play about the D-Day landings. This was written while I was writer in residence at Bay House School, Gosport. It debuted at the D-Day Museum in Portstmouth and ended up on an epic tour as it kelp being invited to show places by audience members. For example, it was part of chairman of Hampshire County Council’s annual concert at The Great Hall in Winchester, was shown at the Southwick D-Day revival weekend, and was on at Explosion Museum in Gosport.
This is an ensemble piece, and is tremendously moving. It’s was brought to life again for the 75th commemorations of D-Day, shown once again at the D-Day museum, Explosion Museum and Southwick Revival (including on the green and for the gala dinner).
Rehearsals for the show.

Performance at The Great Hall, Winchester.
