I’m making mood boards for my WIP at the moment. This is a perfect way of procrastinating as I should be editing.

This is where I am at today (5 March 2024).

It’s a contemporary romance, with a splash of the old world thrown in! It’s a hot summer, with beach parties and midnight swimming and a whole lot of manifesting wishes in the wrong place, at the wrong time!

I’m rather taken with my Footman – he’s got dark curly hair in the novel and so has this chap. . . . apologies if this is you, or your image I’ve purloined here!

My Footman mends a tandem and takes Edie cycling on it along the sea-front. I think that’s rather romantic. Edie less so. She’s always trying to deny her attraction for the weirdo living in her house!
